Dasher, Dancer, Dunder and Jesus

More Christmas sadness--"Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer" got temporarily yanked for its "religious overtones." (That must be the Mongolian throat-singing version.)

Several years ago, our school had another version of Rudolph pulled from the holiday program. It was about Randolph, a cowboy. The six-shooters were the offending words.

Remember when the protestant zealots smashed all the statues in the churches in what's now Belgium? And the French Revolutionaries turned atheists and burned all the religious art in France? And the Taliban blew up the statues of the Buddha? Yeah, good times.
