Because most of our business functions have been moved to Ohio we're downsizing our space. I lose my window but gain a much better spot for the heat and AC ducts!
Those two blue doorstop books. Are they Leven Thumps? They are just familiar enough to nag at me, wanting to be recognized, like the person I pass in the grocery store who I know looks familiar.
I'm pretty sure this photo shows shelves somewhere between E and G. Our collection is alphabetical by author -- fiction and nonfiction mixed together. Maybe those are Cornelia Funke books?
I've been the editor in chief of The Horn Book, Inc, since 1996; previously editor of The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books and a children's and young adult librarian. Received my M.A. in library science from the University of Chicago in 1982 and a B.A. from Pitzer College in 1978.

That's a rather saggy bookshelf! Perhaps a new bookshelf along w/the remodel?

Definitely spot Funke's Dragon Rider, so I concur with Lolly's guess that it is between E and G. Easier to tell after clicking on the thumb nail.
Oh, yes, I see now. Thanks. I badly wanted to ask Roger to drive into the office on a Sunday and check . . .
