I'm filing this blog post under the heading, "Why I Love My Field." :o)
I called as soon as I saw this to make a reservation (they're required) and the children's librarian told me it's completely full. :(
And those Cambridge librarians are very strict about gatecrashers and latecomers. Don't say I didn't warn you. But are even they prepared for The Toddlers' Day of Rage?
I'm sure they see the toddlers' day of rage at least once a week. But I don't envy them having to live through "Parents of Toddlers' Day of Rage," especially if said parents are making a scene in front of their children.
What I am wondering is if they are going to ask for a photo I.D. for those who have already registered. A lot of four year olds these days could pass for five.
My (admittedly underage) bunny rabbit and I have been shut out, too.
Do you know of any events that Kevein Henkes will be doing? I, was really bummed to get turned away. Even name dropping didn't work.
I know I am late, but this sounded cool.... did you turn up as one of the protesting toddlers in disguse? Pray do tell....
